William Edwin Egner, Jr. 86, of The Gables in Rutland Town, VT, and formerly Brooklyn, NY, died August 6, 2026 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 10 AM in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 6 Church Hill Road, Rutland, VT 05701. The Rev. Patti Stratton, minister, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers. donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Alzheimer's Association , P.O. Box 97394, Washington, DC 20077-7967.
Tossing Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
